This award recognises an aviation executive who has most effectively shaped their business’s success while supporting the strengthening of Australia’s aviation capabilities and its recovery through the pandemic.
All industry executives who hold a senior position, such as CEO, CFO, COO, managing director, executive director, or equivalent, are encouraged to apply.
Female Aviation Leader of the Year – SME
This award recognises a female leader working for an SME aviation business that has most effectively shaped its business’s success while supporting the strengthening, recovery, diversity, and growth of Australia’s aviation industry and its capabilities.

It considers the pilot's activities, strategies, and actions to create a point of difference that positively contributes to the development of their organisation or community, and has demonstrated the potential for rapid career progression.

This award recognises the aviation professional who works for a large aviation business and has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to building a successful career in the aviation industry. It considers the activities, strategies and actions to create a point of difference to positively contribute to the development of their specific industry discipline and has demonstrated the potential for rapid career progression.
It is open to any individual within the first three years of their career in the aviation industry. Applicants will have demonstrated a commitment to excelling professionally in the aviation industry, be on a rapid career trajectory, and have made a positive contribution to the industry.
All junior, undergraduate and postgraduate individuals from all disciplines working with or participating in the Australian aviation industry are encouraged to participate.

This award recognises the operator of a remotely piloted aircraft that has delivered outstanding work for their organisation or institution while supporting the strengthening and advancement of Australia's aviation and UAS industry.
It is open to any operator of remotely piloted aircraft at any career level and at any age who has demonstrated a commitment to excelling in the aviation industry and is on a rapid career trajectory, with their work central to the commercial success, performance or development of their organisation.

EMS Business of the Year
This award recognises the EMS business that has done exceptional work over the assessment period. It includes all aerial EMS operators across fixed, rotary or remotely piloted disciplines.
